Assam Innovation and Startup Foundation, a Section 8 company under the Department of Innovation, Incubation and Startups, has been established to strengthen Assam's startup ecosystem. It will support idea-stage startups through grants, incubate and invest in growth-stage startups, mobilize funds from government schemes and other sources, and foster partnerships with investors, corporates, and academic institutions. The Foundation will also provide incubation and technical support while promoting a scalable and sustainable innovation ecosystem across the state.
